Find every Trail Ruins on your Minecraft seed — Java 26.2 & Bedrock 1.26.30, any seed, free, no sign-up.
Quick answer: Trail Ruins are buried structures in taiga and similar biomes in the Overworld, excavated by brushing suspicious blocks for rare pottery sherds and armor trims. This finder marks them at 99% accuracy on Java and 85% on Bedrock.
Trail Ruins generate buried just under the surface in taiga, snowy taiga and old-growth taiga biomes (and a few others) in the Overworld. Only the tops of the buildings break the surface, so most of the structure is hidden underground.
Enter your seed and the finder marks every trail-ruin site. Open a marker for coordinates and dig down to expose the buildings, then use a Brush on the suspicious gravel and dirt blocks to recover artifacts intact.
Trail Ruins are an archaeology site: brushing yields pottery sherds, the rare Armor Trim templates found nowhere else, plus dyes, beads, coal, wool and other decorative loot. Brush gently — breaking a suspicious block destroys what is inside.
Yes — both editions, Minecraft 26.2 (Java) and 1.26.30 (Bedrock). Trail Ruins were added in 1.20 on both. Markers read 99% on Java and 85% on Bedrock.
