Flower Forest

Flower Forest is a rare variant of the forest biome in Minecraft, immediately recognizable by the thick carpet of colorful flowers that covers nearly every patch of ground. It generates at medium temperatures and the lowest humidity levels, which makes it considerably less common than a standard forest and ensures it never appears directly beside one. Players are most likely to find a Flower Forest bordering plains or meadow biomes, while sunflower plains take its place at high weirdness values within the world generation system.

The terrain of a Flower Forest contains both oak and birch trees, though they grow more sparsely than in a typical forest, and neither leaf litter nor bushes appear here. One notable feature is the elevated rate of bee nest generation — roughly one in twenty trees hosts a nest, which is ten times more frequent than in a regular forest. As a result, bees are a common sight during daylight hours. Wolves do not spawn in this biome, but rabbits do, setting the Flower Forest apart from its standard forest counterpart in terms of wildlife.

The wide variety of flowers that grow in a Flower Forest makes it one of the most reliable sources of floral dyes in the game. Species found here include allium, azure bluet, cornflower, dandelion, lily of the valley, oxeye daisy, poppy, all four tulip variants, lilac, peony, and rose bush. Sunflowers, blue orchids, torchflowers, pitcher plants, eyeblossoms, and wither roses are notably absent.

At night, standard hostile mobs spawn across the surface, while passive animals such as sheep, pigs, cows, chickens, and rabbits roam freely during the day. Glow squids can occasionally be encountered in bodies of water beneath the surface.
