Temple

Temple is a village building that generates only in desert villages in both Java Edition and Bedrock Edition. It serves as the job site for the cleric villager, who uses a brewing stand as their job site block. The structure follows the desert architectural style, typically built from sandstone and smooth sandstone blocks.

Desert temples found within villages always contain a loot chest. The chest can include items such as bread, rotten flesh, redstone dust, emeralds, lapis lazuli, and gold ingots. Bread and rotten flesh are the most commonly found items, while gold and emeralds are less frequent.

Temples typically feature a brewing stand, decorative sandstone elements, and sometimes stained glass or banners. They are part of the random pool of village buildings and only appear in desert biome villages.
