Gold Ore

Gold Ore is a rare mineral block that drops Raw Gold when mined with an iron pickaxe or better. It generates in the Overworld, with an extra rich deposit in Badlands biomes. Gold Ore that spawns in deepslate layers becomes Deepslate Gold Ore, which takes longer to mine.

Mining with Fortune increases the Raw Gold yield, while Silk Touch allows the block itself to be collected. Gold Ore is primarily used for smelting into Gold Ingots, which can be crafted into tools, armor, and other valuable items. Mining Gold Ore in the presence of Piglins will make them hostile.
