Redstone Ore
Redstone Ore is a mineral block that generates in the Overworld and drops Redstone Dust when mined with an iron pickaxe or better. It appears in two forms: regular Redstone Ore and Deepslate Redstone Ore, which is found in deeper layers and takes longer to mine.
Mining Redstone Ore yields 4-5 Redstone Dust, with Fortune increasing the yield up to 8 dust. When activated by player interaction or entity contact, it emits a faint glow and red particles but does not produce Redstone power. Redstone Ore is primarily used to obtain Redstone Dust, a key ingredient in crafting Redstone components and circuits.
