Polished Sulfur Slab
Polished Sulfur Slab is a block in Minecraft. It can be crafted.
Polished Sulfur Slab is a decorative half-block that belongs to the sulfur-themed family of building materials in Minecraft. It shares the same yellow, textured aesthetic as other polished sulfur blocks, making it a useful option for builders who want to add visual detail while keeping a consistent material palette.
As with all slabs, the Polished Sulfur Slab can be positioned in the lower or upper half of a block space, and two slabs placed in the same space will merge into a full double-slab. It can also be waterlogged by placing it directly in water, which allows for some creative architectural possibilities. The Polished Sulfur Slab emits no light on its own and is entirely non-flammable, meaning it will not ignite even when exposed to lava — a practical property for certain building scenarios.
In terms of durability, the Polished Sulfur Slab has a hardness of 1.5 and a blast resistance of 6, giving it a modest but reasonable resistance to damage. A pickaxe of any tier is required to mine it; breaking the block without a pickaxe will not drop anything. The Polished Sulfur Slab is crafted by arranging three polished sulfur blocks in a single horizontal row in a crafting grid, which produces six slabs. Alternatively, it can be obtained by processing raw sulfur or polished sulfur in a stonecutter, yielding two slabs per input piece. Because the source material is renewable, the Polished Sulfur Slab can be obtained through fully renewable methods.
