Poplar Door
Poplar Door is a block in Minecraft. It is crafted from 6 Poplar Planks.
Poplar Door is a wooden door variant crafted from poplar planks, belonging to the poplar wood set introduced alongside newer biome and wood content updates. Like all wooden door types, the Poplar Door occupies two vertical block spaces when placed and can be oriented in any of the four horizontal directions, making it a flexible choice for building entrances and interior passages.
The Poplar Door shares the standard statistics common to wooden doors, holding a hardness and blast resistance value of 3. It can be broken by bare hands or any tool, though an axe will break it most quickly. Contact with lava will set the block alight. In Bedrock Edition, the Poplar Door supports waterlogging, a feature not available in Java Edition. When broken, or when the block beneath it is removed, it drops itself as a collectible item.
As with other wooden doors, the Poplar Door can be opened and closed simply by interacting with it, requiring no redstone signal. It also responds to redstone inputs from pressure plates, buttons, and levers, enabling automated entrances. Villagers and certain other mobs are capable of opening and closing wooden doors on their own.
One distinguishing characteristic of the Poplar Door is its light-gray color as it appears on a map, which sets it apart visually from other wooden door variants. It fits naturally within builds that incorporate poplar wood's overall aesthetic.
