Poplar Stairs

Poplar Stairs is a stair-shaped building block crafted from Poplar Planks. Poplar Stairs behaves like the game's other wooden stairs: it can face any of four directions depending on which way a player was facing when it was placed, can be set upside-down so its solid half sits on top, and neighboring pieces form straight runs as well as inner and outer corner shapes. The block can also be waterlogged, letting water occupy the same space it fills.

Poplar Stairs has a hardness of 2 and a blast resistance of 3. It can be broken with any tool, though an axe works fastest, and it always drops itself when mined. As a wooden block, Poplar Stairs is flammable and can catch fire from nearby lava.

Like other overworld wooden stairs, Poplar Stairs can be burned as furnace fuel, smelting 1.5 items for every block used, and placing a note block on top of it produces a bass instrument sound.
