Sulfur Brick Slab
Sulfur Brick Slab is a block in Minecraft. It can be crafted.
Sulfur Brick Slab is a decorative half-height block that functions as the slab variant of sulfur bricks. Like other slabs in the game, it can be positioned in either the lower or upper half of a block space, and stacking two Sulfur Brick Slab pieces on top of one another creates a full double-slab block. The single-slab form is partially transparent, while the double-slab version is fully opaque and prevents light from passing through entirely. It also supports waterlogging, allowing it to be submerged without displacing water.
Sulfur Brick Slab shares the yellow map color common to other blocks in the sulfur family, making it a visually consistent choice for sulfur-themed builds. It has a hardness of 1.5 and a blast resistance of 6, giving it moderate durability against both physical damage and explosions. A wooden pickaxe or better is required to mine it; attempting to break a Sulfur Brick Slab without the appropriate tool will yield no drops.
There are two main ways to obtain Sulfur Brick Slab. At a crafting table, arranging three sulfur bricks in a single horizontal row produces six slabs at a time. Alternatively, a stonecutter can convert sulfur, polished sulfur, or sulfur bricks into two slabs per operation, offering a more efficient use of materials in certain situations. Because its source ingredients can be acquired through renewable means, Sulfur Brick Slab is itself considered a renewable block, making it a practical option for long-term construction projects.
