Exposed Copper Lantern
The Exposed Copper Lantern is the second oxidation stage of the Copper Lantern, showing subtle green tarnish and discoloration as the copper begins to weather. It functions identically to the regular variant, serving as a decorative light source with a distinctive green flame and a light level of 15. The Exposed Copper Lantern can be placed on solid blocks or hung beneath them and connects seamlessly to Copper Chains for aesthetic lighting setups.
The Exposed Copper Lantern can be obtained by allowing a regular Copper Lantern to oxidize naturally over time or by using one directly in creative mode. Applying Honeycomb creates a Waxed Exposed Copper Lantern, halting further oxidation, while using an axe can restore it to a previous stage. It is waterloggable, non-flammable, and maintains its brightness regardless of oxidation level. With a hardness and blast resistance of 3.5, the Exposed Copper Lantern offers a slightly aged copper appearance while retaining the warm glow and versatility of the original lantern.
