Calibrated Sculk Sensor

Calibrated Sculk Sensor is an advanced redstone block that detects vibrations like the standard sculk sensor but with added precision and a wider range. Crafted using a regular sculk sensor and three amethyst shards, it can sense vibrations up to 16 blocks away—double the range of its uncalibrated counterpart—and responds more quickly, activating for just 10 game ticks (0.5 seconds) with a 10-tick cooldown.

What sets it apart is its filtering ability: the side with the amethyst stripe accepts a redstone signal that determines which vibration frequency it listens for, allowing it to react only to specific in-game actions like walking, eating, or taking damage. For example, powering it with a signal strength of 5 filters for actions like dismounting or equipping armor. If no signal is provided, it defaults to the highest frequency detected.

The sensor emits redstone power from every side except the input side and strongly powers the block below. It’s harvested using a Silk Touch tool; otherwise, it drops 5 XP. Hoes mine it the fastest.
