Arrow of Decay is an item in Minecraft. It is crafted from 8 Arrow and 1 Lingering Potion of Decay (0:10).
The Arrow of Decay applies the Wither effect upon hitting a target. This effect gradually depletes the target’s health over time, similar to Poison, but unlike Poison, Wither can reduce a target’s health to zero, making it lethal. The effect also turns the target's health bar black, obscuring the exact amount of health remaining.
This arrow is exclusive to the Bedrock Edition of Minecraft and cannot be obtained in the Java Edition. It can be crafted by surrounding 8 arrows with a Lingering Potion of Decay in a crafting table or by dipping arrows into a cauldron filled with a Potion of Decay.
The Infinity enchantment does not apply to this arrow, meaning each shot consumes an arrow from the player’s inventory.
