Dragon heads are obtained by looting End ships in End cities, where they generate on the front of the ship. They are one of the largest and most unique mob heads in Minecraft.
Dragon heads can be worn as a helmet, causing the mouth to open and close when the player moves. They can also be placed on a note block to produce an Ender Dragon sound when activated. When powered by redstone, a placed Dragon Head will animate its mouth, making it a popular decoration.
