Potion of Infestation is an item in Minecraft. It is used as a brewing ingredient.
The Potion of Infestation is a new item introduced in Minecraft 1.21 - Tricky Trials Update. When consumed, it grants the Infested effect for 3 minutes. While under this effect, the affected player or mob has a 10% chance to spawn 1–2 silverfish each time they take damage. To brew the Potion of Infestation, combine an Awkward Potion with a special ingredient in a Brewing Stand. This potion is useful for creating chaotic combat scenarios or adding a unique challenge, as the unpredictable appearance of silverfish can quickly overwhelm opponents.
