Netherite Scrap is primarily used to craft netherite ingots, which are essential for upgrading diamond tools, weapons, and armor at a smithing table. Four netherite scraps combined with four gold ingots produce one netherite ingot.

Due to its rarity and importance in late-game gear progression, Netherite Scrap is a highly valuable item, making netherite tools and armor more durable, fire-resistant, and knockback-resistant than their diamond counterparts.
