Bastion Remnant
Bastion Remnant is a generated structure in Minecraft. It is home to Piglin, Piglin Brute, Hoglin, and Magma Cube.
Bastion Remnants are large, dangerous structures that generate naturally in the Nether (except basalt deltas) and are inhabited by piglins, piglin brutes and hoglins. They share the same regional generation space as Nether fortresses, so only one of the two structures appears per region.
There are four Bastion Remnant variants: Hoglin Stable, Housing Units, Treasure Bastion, and Bridge. Each variant has different rooms, layouts and chest placements, but all are built from blackstone, gilded blackstone, polished blackstone and obsidian, often with magma blocks and lava beneath.
Loot chests inside a Bastion Remnant can contain rare items such as enchanted golden boots with Soul Speed or Swift Sneak (Bedrock-only), ancient debris, netherite scrap and netherite ingots, diamonds, gilded blackstone, gold blocks, crossbows, enchanted books and music discs. The Treasure Bastion variant has the highest-value central loot room.
Players are attacked on sight by piglin brutes and by any piglin that sees them mining gold blocks, opening chests or wielding a weapon other than a crossbow. Wearing at least one piece of gold armor keeps regular piglins neutral, but brutes always remain hostile, making Bastion Remnants among the toughest structures to raid in survival.

Quick answers
Enter your world seed into the interactive seed-map finder on this page to get the exact coordinates of every Bastion Remnant in the Nether before you even load the world. In-game, Bastion Remnants are large Blackstone structures that generate randomly throughout the Nether, so the map is by far the fastest way to locate one without wandering.
Bastion Remnants only generate in the Nether, in any biome except Basalt Deltas. The Nether is split into regions (432x432 blocks in Java, 480x480 in Bedrock) that each contain either a Bastion or a Nether Fortress; in Java a bastion has a 60% chance over a fortress (about 66% in Bedrock), and because each region holds only one of the two, no region ever contains both a bastion and a fortress.
Bastions come in four equally common variants (Bridge, Hoglin Stable, Housing Units, and Treasure) guarded by Piglins, Piglin Brutes, and Hoglins, with the Treasure variant holding the best loot. Chests can contain ancient debris, netherite scrap and ingots, the Netherite Upgrade smithing template, gilded blackstone, and gold; wearing any gold armor keeps regular Piglins neutral, but Piglin Brutes always stay hostile.
