Raw Iron

Raw Iron is an ore item obtained by mining iron ore or deepslate iron ore without a Silk Touch pickaxe. It can also be found in chests inside structures such as bastion remnants and ruined portals. When mined, Raw Iron drops one piece per block, though using a pickaxe enchanted with Fortune increases the yield.

Raw Iron is primarily used to be smelted into iron ingots in a furnace or blast furnace, which are essential for crafting tools, armor, weapons, rails, anvils, and more. It can also be crafted into Raw Iron blocks, which serve as compact storage.

Due to its renewable nature from iron ore generation and iron farms, Raw Iron is a crucial resource for both early and late-game progression, enabling players to craft essential gear and infrastructure items.
