Oak Sapling

Oak Saplings are tree saplings obtained by breaking or letting Oak Sapling leaves decay. They have a 5% drop chance from leaves and can also be collected using a tool enchanted with Fortune, which increases the drop rate.

Oak Saplings can be planted on dirt, grass, podzol, or moss blocks and will grow into an Oak Sapling tree when exposed to sufficient light. Using bone meal accelerates their growth. Oak Sapling trees are a reliable source of Oak Sapling logs, apples, and additional saplings, making them essential for wood gathering and farming.

Unlike some other tree types, Oak Saplings have no special growth requirements and can grow adjacent to other blocks, making them ideal for compact tree farms. Due to their versatility and ease of growth, Oak Saplings are commonly used for wood farming in all survival worlds.
