Highlight every Stony Peaks on your Minecraft seed — Java 26.2 & Bedrock 1.26.30, any seed, free, no sign-up.
Quick answer: Stony Peaks are the warm-climate take on Minecraft's mountain summits - bare stone, calcite and gravel with no snow and, unusually, no animals at all. This finder highlights every Stony Peaks patch on your seed, free, Java & Bedrock.
Stony Peaks generate on the Overworld surface at the tops of tall mountains that sit in warm temperature zones, which makes them one of the rarer biomes to come across. They take the place of snowy peaks wherever the climate is too warm for snow, bordering forests and savanna plateaus and occasionally jungles, and never appear next to mangrove swamps or windswept savannas.
Enter your seed and the map highlights every Stony Peaks patch - click any highlighted patch to read its coordinates. Look for tall mountains rising out of warm lowlands, since Stony Peaks only form where a savanna, jungle or forest climbs high enough.
Stony Peaks are unique among the peak biomes for having no snow and no grass - the surface is raw stone, strips of calcite and patches of gravel, giving a stark geological look. Iron and coal ore are more abundant and more often exposed at the surface here than almost anywhere else, while emerald ore and infested stone generate as they do in other mountains. No passive mobs spawn at all, only hostiles after dark, and the deep dark below reaches higher than usual, so it is a resource run rather than a base.
Yes - both editions, Minecraft 26.2 on Java and 1.26.30 on Bedrock. Stony Peaks were added in the 1.18 Caves & Cliffs update on both editions. The map runs the same world-generation maths Minecraft uses and highlights every patch on your seed, free and with no sign-up.
