Crimson Roots are a non-solid plant found in Crimson Forests and rarely in Warped Forests and Soul Sand Valleys. They resemble tall, thin mushrooms and naturally generate on Nylium and Soul Soil.
They can be mined instantly with any tool and drop themselves when broken. When placed in a flower pot, breaking the pot drops both the Crimson Roots and the pot. Endermen holding Crimson Roots will drop them upon death.
Crimson Roots can also be found in Bastion Remnants, inside Hoglin Stable chests with a 22.8% chance. Using bone meal on Crimson Nylium generates more Crimson Roots, and occasionally, they can appear when using bone meal on Warped Nylium. They are mainly used for decoration and can be placed in flower pots for a different texture. Crimson Roots can also be composted with a 65% chance of increasing the compost level.
