Warped Forest

Warped Forest is one of the rarest biomes found in the Nether, making up only around 8% of the Nether's total volume. Its most immediately striking feature is a deep cyan color palette that sets it apart from every other Nether biome. The fog carries a rich blue hue under normal conditions, shifting to a lilac tint when a player uses Night Vision. While the Warped Forest can border most other Nether biomes, it never generates directly alongside soul sand valleys.

The floor of the Warped Forest is blanketed primarily in warped nylium, interspersed with patches of netherrack and warped wart blocks. Twisting vines climb upward from the ground, and the surface is dotted with warped roots, nether sprouts, and both warped and crimson fungi. Towering warped fungus trees — which grow nowhere else in the game naturally — dominate the landscape, with shroomlights glowing from within their canopies. Rock overhangs jut out above the lava seas below, and glowstone clusters form along the ceiling above.

Endermen spawn here more frequently than in any other Nether biome, making the Warped Forest a reliable, if risky, source of ender pearls. Striders also spawn naturally in the lava pools. Crucially, no other hostile mobs spawn in the open biome itself, though Nether fortresses and bastion remnants that generate within it can still produce their usual mobs.

The Warped Forest is one of only two Nether biomes where wood can be harvested without traveling back to the Overworld, the other being the crimson forest. Curiously, it is also one of just two biomes in the entire game that plays no background music of its own — though any track already playing from a nearby biome will continue as the player crosses into it.
