The Arrow of Poison applies the Poison effect upon hitting a target. This effect gradually depletes the health of the affected player or mob over time, making it useful for weakening enemies. However, Poison cannot reduce a target's health below half a heart, meaning it will not deliver a fatal blow.
This arrow can be obtained either by crafting or by using a cauldron. To craft it, players must surround 8 arrows with a Lingering Potion of Poison in a crafting table. Alternatively, it can be made by dipping arrows into a cauldron filled with a Potion of Poison.
The Infinity enchantment does not apply to this arrow, meaning each shot consumes an arrow from the player’s inventory.
