Basalt

Basalt is a dark, volcanic rock found in the Nether, primarily in Basalt deltas and soul sand valleys. It can also be generated using lava, soul soil, and blue ice. Basalt can be mined with any pickaxe; otherwise, it drops nothing. It is mainly used as a building material and can be crafted into polished Basalt or smelted into smooth Basalt. Placing it under a note block creates a 'bass drum' sound.
