Blue Ice

Blue Ice is a solid, highly slippery block that generates naturally in icebergs, frozen oceans, and snowy plains villages. It can be obtained with a Silk Touch pickaxe; otherwise, it drops nothing.

Blue Ice is even slipperier than Packed Ice, making it ideal for high-speed item transport and boat highways, where boats can travel at up to 72.73 m/s. Unlike regular Ice, it does not melt near light sources. It can also be used in basalt generators when combined with lava and soul soil.
