Brown Glazed Terracotta

Brown Glazed Terracotta is a decorative block with a rich, earthy design, often used in warm-toned builds or intricate floor and wall patterns. It is obtained by smelting Brown Stained Terracotta in a furnace, which is made by combining regular terracotta with brown dye.

When placed, the block’s unique texture rotates depending on the direction the player is facing. This allows builders to create larger, connected patterns by carefully aligning multiple blocks. A 2×2 square of properly rotated Brown Glazed Terracotta reveals a symmetrical and detailed design.

Brown Glazed Terracotta does not stick to slime or honey blocks and can be pushed by pistons, though it cannot be pulled by sticky pistons. It is sometimes offered by expert-level mason villagers as a trade in exchange for emeralds.

Placing a Brown Glazed Terracotta block beneath a note block will produce a bass drum sound, adding a musical use to its decorative versatility.
