Black Glazed Terracotta
Black Glazed Terracotta is a block in Minecraft. It can be mined and collected.
Black Glazed Terracotta is a decorative block created by smelting black stained terracotta. It features a bold, symmetrical pattern with high contrast, making it ideal for artistic flooring, mosaics, or intricate wall designs.
To obtain it, smelt Black Stained Terracotta in a furnace. The stained terracotta itself is crafted from regular terracotta and black dye. Black Glazed Terracotta can also occasionally be found in trail ruins or traded from expert-level masons.
When placed, its texture rotates based on the player's facing direction. Arranged in a 2×2 or larger pattern, Black Glazed Terracotta tiles connect seamlessly to form larger geometric motifs. It does not stick to slime or honey blocks, can be pushed by pistons, but cannot be pulled by sticky pistons. Despite its detailed appearance, it is a solid block and has no special redstone function.
When placed beneath a note block, it produces a bass drum sound.
