Cobbled Deepslate

Cobbled Deepslate is a stone variant that functions similarly to cobblestone or blackstone. It can be obtained by mining deepslate with a pickaxe that does not have Silk Touch or by mining Cobbled Deepslate with any pickaxe. When mined without a pickaxe, it drops nothing.

Cobbled Deepslate generates naturally in ancient cities and trial chambers. It can be used as a substitute for cobblestone for crafting stone tools, brewing stands, and furnaces, as well as for repairing stone tools in an anvil. However, it cannot be used to craft dispensers, droppers, or pistons.

Cobbled Deepslate can be crafted into slabs, stairs, walls, and polished deepslate. The fastest way to obtain derivative blocks such as deepslate tile walls is by using a stonecutter, as crafting requires multiple steps. It can also be smelted into regular deepslate using any fuel source. With a hardness of 3.5, Cobbled Deepslate takes longer to break than cobblestone. It is primarily used as a decorative and building material.
