Granite

Granite is an igneous rock block found in large underground pockets. It can be mined with any pickaxe; otherwise, it drops nothing. It can also be crafted from diorite and nether quartz.

Granite is primarily used for building and crafting. It can be crafted into polished Granite, slabs, stairs, and walls. Journeyman-level masons may trade emeralds for Granite. Placing it under a note block creates a 'bass drum' sound.
