Podzol

Podzol is a dirt-type block found in old growth taiga and bamboo jungle biomes.

Podzol can be obtained by mining it with a Silk Touch-enchanted tool; otherwise, it drops Dirt. It naturally generates in certain biomes and can also form when a large spruce tree grows, converting nearby Dirt and Grass Blocks. Unlike Grass and Mycelium, Podzol does not spread and remains unchanged even when covered by a solid block. It allows mushrooms to grow regardless of light level, making it useful for mushroom farming. Podzol cannot be tilled into Farmland but can be converted into Dirt Path using a shovel.
