Polished Cinnabar Stairs
Polished Cinnabar Stairs is a block in Minecraft. It can be crafted.
Polished Cinnabar Stairs are a decorative block shaped like a staircase, crafted from Polished Cinnabar and carrying that material's distinctive deep red coloration. Whether used to add architectural detail or to create tiered structures, Polished Cinnabar Stairs bring a rich, stone-like aesthetic to any build.
Polished Cinnabar Stairs can be obtained through two crafting methods. At a crafting table, arranging six Polished Cinnabar blocks in the standard stair pattern yields four stairs. Alternatively, feeding a single Cinnabar or Polished Cinnabar block into a stonecutter produces one stair block directly, offering a more efficient conversion when only a small number are needed. Keep in mind that Polished Cinnabar Stairs are not a renewable resource, so plan accordingly when gathering materials.
In terms of durability, Polished Cinnabar Stairs have a hardness of 1.5 and a blast resistance of 6, placing them in the moderately sturdy range for decorative blocks. A pickaxe is required to break them; mining without one causes the block to drop nothing. They are not flammable and will not ignite from nearby lava, making them a reliable choice in environments where fire is a concern.
Like other stair-type blocks, Polished Cinnabar Stairs support waterlogging and can be oriented in multiple directions, allowing builders to construct stepped passages, curved edges, or layered decorative facades. When a note block is placed directly above them, they produce a Bass Drum instrument sound, and they use the cinnabar sound type for standard block interactions.
