It can hold up to three item stacks, each displayed on the front of the shelf for a decorative yet practical touch. Interacting with any slot swaps the held item with the stored one, making it easy to organize tools, materials, or decorative items in plain view.

When powered by redstone, the Acacia Shelf can connect with up to two other shelves, forming a multi-shelf network that swaps its stored items with the player’s hotbar. One powered shelf swaps three hotbar slots, two shelves swap six, and three shelves swap all nine. Comparators detect how many slots are filled, emitting a signal strength between 0 and 7, allowing for creative redstone-based storage automation.

The Acacia Shelf has a hardness of 2 and blast resistance of 3, and is best mined using an axe. It is flammable, waterloggable, and compatible with hoppers and droppers for item transfer.
