Fern
Fern is a block in Minecraft. It can be mined and collected.
A Fern is a plant similar to grass that naturally generates in jungle, taiga, snowy taiga, and old growth taiga biomes. It can be obtained by breaking it with shears, while destroying it normally has a small chance to drop wheat seeds. Large ferns drop two ferns when broken with shears.
Ferns can generate in taiga village chests and can also be bought from wandering traders for one emerald. In Bedrock Edition, using bone meal on a grass block can cause ferns to grow. They can be placed in flower pots for decoration and used in composters with a 65% chance to increase compost levels. In Bedrock Edition, sheep can eat ferns, which helps them regrow wool. Bone meal can also be used on a Fern to turn it into a large Fern.
