Snowy Taiga
Snowy Taiga is a biome in Minecraft. Mobs that spawn here include Creeper, Slime, Spider, Zombie, and Skeleton.

Snowy Taiga (Cold Taiga) is a frigid overworld biome characterized by dense forests of spruce and pine trees, their branches frequently draped in snow layers. Beneath the canopy, ferns, large ferns, and scattered sweet berry bushes cover the ground, while any exposed water freezes solid due to the biome's sub-zero temperature. Snow layers coat almost the entire landscape, with the only bare patches found directly under tree canopies where snowfall cannot reach.
During world generation, the Snowy Taiga occupies the coldest temperature zones at medium-to-high humidity, typically bordering snowy plains and separated from them by frozen rivers. Coastal edges meet snowy beaches and frozen oceans, while mountainous terrain is often replaced by groves. Because of their elevated humidity, lush caves can form underground beneath a Snowy Taiga, though dripstone caves may generate instead when the biome lies deep inland.
Wildlife in the Snowy Taiga reflects its harsh climate. Foxes appear as white-coated snow foxes, and wolves take on a distinctive ashen coat found only in this biome. Igloos and trail ruins generate across all editions. In Bedrock Edition, taiga-style villages and pillager outposts can also appear, though village farm water freezes and uproots crops, and villagers wear the snowy plains outfit rather than the standard taiga variant.
Bedrock Edition gives the Snowy Taiga a dark-blue water tint, and active snowfall gradually builds up snow layers while leaves turn white. With Vibrant Visuals enabled, the biome receives cold color grading that casts an icy-blue hue over the terrain, along with cold sunlight that brightens slightly near dusk and dawn and a semi-humid volumetric fog that softly fades distant scenery with a warm orange tint.
