Fire Protection

Fire Protection

Fire Protection is a specialized armor enchantment in Minecraft that reduces fire damage and burning time, making it essential for exploring the Nether and fire-hazard environments. This defensive enchantment can be applied to helmets, chestplates, leggings, and boots with a maximum level of IV.

Players can obtain Fire Protection through enchanting tables, fishing for enchanted books, trading with librarian villagers, or discovering it in structure loot from desert pyramids, strongholds, ancient cities, trial chambers, and various dungeon chests. The enchantment also drops from raid mobs in Bedrock Edition.

Fire Protection reduces fire damage by 8% per level, providing up to 32% damage reduction with Fire Protection IV. It protects against fire, lava, magma blocks, campfires, blaze projectiles, and flaming arrows. Additionally, it reduces burn time by 15% per level, with Fire Protection VII across all armor pieces providing complete fire immunity.

The enchantment is mutually exclusive with Protection, Blast Protection, and Projectile Protection, making it ideal for players frequently encountering fire-based threats in Nether exploration or combat scenarios.
