Purple Harness is an essential equipment item that transforms happy ghasts into rideable mounts in Minecraft. The Purple Harness offers a royal, mystical appearance that complements enchanted builds and provides an elegant, luxurious look.

The Purple Harness crafting recipe requires leather, glass, and purple wool arranged in a specific pattern. Players can also create it by dyeing any existing harness with purple dye. Happy ghasts naturally follow players holding purple harnesses if they aren't already equipped with one.

When equipped on a happy ghast, the Purple Harness enables up to four players to ride simultaneously. The aviator goggles automatically lower over the ghast's eyes during riding and raise when dismounted, providing clear visual indication of the mount's status. Upon dismounting, the happy ghast snaps to the nearest cardinal direction, allowing players to stand on it like a solid block. Purple harnesses can be removed using shears.
