Stripped Poplar Log is the stripped variant of the Poplar Log, created by using an axe on any poplar log block — whether naturally generated in the world or player-placed. The action removes the outer bark entirely, exposing a pale gray-toned inner wood grain across all six faces of the block. Once stripped, the change is permanent and cannot be reversed, making Stripped Poplar Log a distinct member of the poplar wood family.

Stripped Poplar Log drops itself when broken with any tool or even bare hands, though using an axe significantly reduces the time needed. At a crafting table, a single Stripped Poplar Log can be converted into four Poplar Planks, making it a practical source of building material. Alternatively, arranging four Stripped Poplar Log blocks in a 2×2 crafting grid produces three Stripped Poplar Wood blocks. It also functions as a furnace fuel, providing roughly fifteen seconds of burn time per block.

Like other wooden blocks, Stripped Poplar Log is flammable and can ignite if exposed to adjacent lava, so care should be taken when using it near heat sources. When placed beneath a Note Block, it produces a bass instrument sound. Its map color is listed as Light Gray, giving it a distinctive appearance on cartographic displays.
