Oak Shelf
The Oak Shelf is a versatile decorative storage block crafted from six Stripped Oak Logs arranged in two horizontal rows in a 3×3 crafting grid. It can hold and display up to three item stacks, showing each item on its front face for both storage and aesthetic purposes. Players can interact with individual slots to swap items directly between their inventory and the shelf, making it convenient for quick access or interior decoration.
When powered by redstone, the Oak Shelf can link with up to two adjacent shelves, forming a connected unit of up to three shelves. A powered shelf swaps its contents with the player’s hotbar when used—one swaps three slots, two swap six, and three swap all nine. Comparators can read how many slots are filled, producing redstone signals between 0 and 7, allowing for redstone integration.
With a hardness of 2 and a blast resistance of 3, the Oak Shelf is best broken with an axe and is fully waterloggable. It can also be automated with hoppers and droppers to insert or extract items. Featuring a classic light wood texture, the Oak Shelf blends perfectly into rustic or traditional builds, offering both utility and timeless oak charm for player homes and workshops.
