Leather Tunic is an item in Minecraft. It is crafted from 8 Leather.

A Leather Tunic is a chest armor piece crafted from leather, making it the weakest and least durable chestplate in Minecraft. It provides minimal protection but is the only chest armor that can be dyed in different colors using a crafting table or cauldron.

Leather tunics can be obtained by crafting, looting structures such as villages and bastions, or dropped by zombies and skeletons wearing them. While they offer little defense, they can be enchanted with Protection, Unbreaking, and other armor enchantments.

Unlike other chestplates, a Leather Tunic is the only piece of chest armor that helps prevent freezing when worn in powder snow, making it useful in snowy biomes.
