How do I find Buried Treasure in Minecraft?

Enter your world seed into the interactive seed-map finder on this page to get the exact coordinates of every Buried Treasure chest. In normal survival you locate it with a buried treasure map (found in shipwreck and ocean ruin chests) and dig at the spot marked with an X.

Where does Buried Treasure spawn and what biome is it in?

Buried Treasure is a single hidden chest that generates mainly under beaches, and rarely on the ocean floor, in the Overworld. In Java Edition it sits at chunk-local coordinates (9, 9), while Bedrock Edition places it at (8, 8).

What loot is inside a Buried Treasure chest?

Every Buried Treasure chest is guaranteed to contain a Heart of the Sea, the core ingredient used to craft a Conduit. Chests can also hold extras such as diamonds, gold and iron ingots, emeralds, TNT, prismarine crystals, and Potions of Water Breathing, but the Heart of the Sea is the one item that always appears.
