Find every Mineshaft on your Minecraft seed — Java 26.2 & Bedrock 1.26.30, any seed, free, no sign-up.
Quick answer: Mineshafts generate underground throughout most Overworld biomes, full of rails, minecart chests and cave-spider spawners. This finder shows estimated mineshaft locations for Java and Bedrock.
Mineshafts generate underground across most Overworld biomes as sprawling wooden tunnel networks. In badlands they also generate higher up and partly exposed, with extra gold — the only place mineshafts reach near the surface.
Enter your seed and the finder marks estimated mineshaft locations. Open a marker for coordinates and dig down or follow caves to reach the tunnels. Watch for cobwebs around Cave Spider spawners as you explore.
Minecarts with chests scattered along the rails hold loot such as diamonds, gold and iron, rails, name tags, lapis and enchanted books — and the structure itself is a free source of rails and wood for transport networks.
Mineshafts wind and branch through the terrain rather than sitting at a single fixed point, so we publish their position as an estimate rather than a precise percentage on either edition. Both Minecraft 26.2 (Java) and 1.26.30 (Bedrock) are supported.
