Find every Mineshaft on your Minecraft seed — Java 26.2 & Bedrock 1.26.40, any seed, free, no sign-up.
Quick answer: Mineshafts generate underground throughout most Overworld biomes, full of rails, minecart chests and cave-spider spawners. This finder marks them at 98% accuracy on Java 1.13 and later, 99% on Java 1.12 and older, and 99% on Bedrock.
Mineshafts generate underground across most Overworld biomes as sprawling wooden tunnel networks. In badlands they also generate higher up and partly exposed, with extra gold — the only place mineshafts reach near the surface.
Enter your seed and the finder marks mineshaft locations. Open a marker for coordinates and dig down or follow caves to reach the tunnels. Watch for cobwebs around Cave Spider spawners as you explore.
Minecarts with chests scattered along the rails hold loot such as diamonds, gold and iron, rails, name tags, lapis and enchanted books — and the structure itself is a free source of rails and wood for transport networks.
Mineshaft markers read 99% on Bedrock and 98% on Java 1.13 and later. Java 1.12 and older generate mineshafts differently, so that older version range was measured separately and reads 99% — the map switches between the two figures by itself when you change the version, because we publish a number only for versions we have actually measured. Both Minecraft 26.2 (Java) and 1.26.40 (Bedrock) are supported.
