Sandstone

Sandstone is a solid block related to sand that comes in two color variants, with regular Sandstone commonly found in deserts and beaches. It has three decorative variants: chiseled Sandstone, cut Sandstone, and smooth Sandstone.

Sandstone can be mined with any pickaxe; otherwise, it drops nothing. With a hardness of 0.8, it is relatively easy to break. It generates naturally in deserts and beaches, often found compressed beneath several layers of sand. It is also a primary building material in desert villages, pyramids, wells, and warm ocean ruins.

Sandstone can be crafted using four sand blocks or obtained through stonecutting. It can also be smelted to create smooth Sandstone. It is primarily a decorative block and can be crafted into slabs, stairs, and walls. Like other stone-based blocks, it can be placed under note blocks to produce a bass drum sound.
