Multishot
Multishot is a powerful crossbow enchantment in Minecraft that transforms single shots into triple-arrow volleys, firing three arrows simultaneously while consuming only one arrow from your inventory. This crowd-control enchantment spreads arrows 10° apart horizontally, dramatically increasing hit probability and area damage potential.
The enchantment duplicates all projectile types including regular arrows, tipped arrows, spectral arrows, and firework rockets, making it versatile for various combat situations. However, only the central arrow can be retrieved after shooting, and in Java Edition, damage immunity prevents multiple arrows from the same shot hitting one target effectively.
Players can obtain Multishot through enchanting tables, librarian villager trades, fishing for enchanted books, raid drops in Bedrock Edition, and various structure loot sources. The enchantment increases durability consumption per shot and is incompatible with Piercing enchantment. Multishot excels against groups of enemies and provides superior coverage for defensive positions, making it essential for mob farming and large-scale combat scenarios.
