Pillager Outpost
Pillager Outpost is a generated structure in Minecraft. It is home to Pillager, Iron Golem, and Allay. Its chests can contain Dark Oak Log, Wheat, Bottle o' Enchanting, Carrot, and Potato.
Pillager Outpost Outposts are semi-rare structures inhabited by pillagers, found in many overworld biomes including plains, taiga, savanna, and various mountain and snowy biomes. They always include a central watchtower, sometimes surrounded by up to four smaller structures like tents, cages, log piles, and target dummies.
Pillagers, including captains, spawn regularly around outposts. Killing a captain gives the Bad Omen effect, which can trigger a raid when entering a village. Outposts may also generate with iron golems or allays trapped in cages.
The watchtower contains a loot chest at the top, with items like crossbows, iron ingots, arrows, wheat, goat horns, and sentry armor trim. In Java Edition, pillagers spawn in a large area centered on the tower. In Bedrock Edition, they spawn in specific columns depending on the tower's orientation.
Outposts can appear on elevated terrain or floating over water, generating platforms to support them. While they're dangerous, Pillager Outpost outposts are a good source of combat, loot, and key items for triggering raids and unlocking achievements.

Quick answers
The fastest way is to enter your world seed into the interactive Pillager Outpost finder map on this page, which marks the exact coordinates of every outpost so you can travel straight to one. In-game you can also explore village-friendly biomes like plains, savanna, and taiga, since outposts are tall wooden watchtowers visible from a distance.
Pillager Outposts only generate in the Overworld, in biomes that can also host villages such as plains, desert, savanna, taiga, and snowy plains, plus some mountain biomes like groves and snowy slopes. They are semi-rare, typically generating every several hundred to a couple thousand blocks, and in Java Edition they never spawn within 150 blocks of a village.
Outposts are guarded by pillagers and a Pillager Captain; killing the captain in Java Edition 1.21+ drops an Ominous Bottle, which grants Bad Omen and triggers a raid when you next enter a village. A single loot chest at the top of the watchtower can contain crossbows, arrows, goat horns, and the sentry armor trim, and some outposts also feature caged allays or iron golems.
