Warm Cow
Warm Cow is a passive mob introduced in the "Spring to Life" update (Java Edition 1.21.5 / Bedrock Edition 1.21.70). It is one of three temperature-based variants of the standard Cow, alongside the Temperate Cow and the Cold Cow. The Warm Cow is visually distinct from its relatives, sporting a reddish-brown coat, a sleeker body shape, and upward-curving dark horns drawn from the appearance of Ankole cattle found in real-world warm climates.
In terms of spawning, the Warm Cow appears naturally in hot and arid environments such as Desert, Savanna, Savanna Plateau, Windswept Savanna, Jungle, Sparse Jungle, Bamboo Jungle, Badlands, Wooded Badlands, Eroded Badlands, Mangrove Swamp, and warm or lukewarm ocean biomes. This geographical separation keeps each variant tied to its respective climate zone, making the Warm Cow a recognizable sight in drier, hotter parts of the world.
Despite its unique look, the Warm Cow behaves identically to any other Cow variant. It drops 1–3 Raw Beef upon death, which converts to Cooked Beef if the animal is killed while burning. It also drops 0–2 Leather. Players can milk it using a Bucket, guide it with a Lead, and breed it by offering Wheat. When two Cows breed — regardless of their individual variants — the resulting calf randomly inherits the variant of either parent, meaning the Warm Cow can appear even in cooler biomes as an offspring.
