Eroded Badlands
Eroded Badlands is a biome in Minecraft. Mobs that spawn here include Creeper, Slime, Spider, Zombie, and Skeleton.

Eroded Badlands (Mesa Bryce) is a rare variant of the badlands biome, immediately recognizable by its towering terracotta hoodoos — narrow, eroded spires that jut upward from the red sand floor found in the biome's lower drainage basins. Eroded Badlands generates in regions of positive weirdness and low humidity, and is commonly separated from ordinary badlands terrain by a river or dry valley.
Like other badlands variants, the terrain of Eroded Badlands is composed of layered terracotta in a range of colors including red, orange, yellow, white, light gray, and brown. The lower elevations are blanketed in red sand, where dead bushes and cacti — occasionally topped with cactus flowers — dot the sparse ground cover. Gold ore spawns more frequently and at shallower depths here than in most other biomes, and dark oak mineshafts commonly generate with portions exposed above the surface. Rainfall and lightning do not occur in Eroded Badlands due to its extreme arid conditions.
The distinctive hoodoo formations are limited to lower elevations; at higher altitudes, Eroded Badlands becomes visually similar to regular badlands terrain, occasionally reaching Y=256 and bordering stony peaks biomes. Neighboring biomes typically include deserts, savannas, plains, and forests. Deep dark and dripstone cave biomes can form in the underground layers beneath Eroded Badlands.
Mob spawning in Eroded Badlands follows the same rules as standard badlands: hostile mobs appear at night, while passive farm animals only spawn on player-placed grass blocks and appear as warm variants. Armadillos are a notable passive mob found here. With Vibrant Visuals enabled, the sky takes on a turquoise-green hue by day, and warm color grading shifts the overall environment toward yellow tones.
