Deep Cold Ocean
Deep Cold Ocean is a biome in Minecraft. Mobs that spawn here include Creeper, Drowned, Slime, Spider, and Zombie.

Deep Cold Ocean is a deep-water biome found in the cold temperature zones of the Overworld, functioning as the deep variant of the standard cold ocean. It never borders land biomes directly, instead sitting adjacent to cold oceans and mushroom fields. Depending on the surrounding temperature gradient, the Deep Cold Ocean neighbors regular deep oceans at warmer edges and deep frozen oceans at colder boundaries.
The seafloor of the Deep Cold Ocean is covered in gravel, with tall seagrass and kelp stretching upward through the water column. Because it qualifies as a deep ocean variant, ocean monuments are able to generate here, offering both hazard and reward for explorers. Shipwrecks and cold ocean ruins also appear throughout the biome, and the density of tall seagrass is noticeably greater than in the shallower cold ocean above.
Aquatic life in the Deep Cold Ocean includes cod, salmon, squid, dolphins, and nautiluses. Drowned mobs spawn with considerable frequency in these waters, making deep dives here considerably more perilous than exploration of shallower ocean biomes. Preparation with adequate armor and breathing equipment is advisable before descending.
When Vibrant Visuals rendering is enabled, the Deep Cold Ocean takes on a pronounced icy-blue water tint through coolish color grading layered over default atmospheric settings. Slightly brightened dusk and dawn illumination from cold sunlight settings reinforces the biome's characteristic frigid aesthetic.
