Cold Ocean
Cold Ocean is a biome in Minecraft. Mobs that spawn here include Creeper, Drowned, Slime, Spider, and Zombie.

The Cold Ocean is a chilly ocean biome that generates within cold temperature zones, typically found adjacent to taiga and old growth taiga biomes. It borders deep cold oceans, regular oceans, and frozen oceans, and may also neighbor coastal biomes, though it will never appear next to mushroom fields.
The seafloor of the Cold Ocean is composed primarily of gravel, and noticeably less seagrass grows here compared to warmer ocean variants. Looking down from above, the water takes on a dark indigo hue that sets it apart from temperate and warm ocean biomes. Scattered small islands occasionally break the surface, topped with grass blocks and standard vegetation. Cold-variant ocean ruins generate throughout the biome, and shipwrecks are a relatively common sight as well.
The Cold Ocean hosts many of the same creatures found in regular oceans. Passive aquatic mobs such as cod, salmon, squid, nautilus, glow squid, and dolphins all inhabit these waters. Drowned can be encountered beneath the surface, and hostile land mobs including creepers, zombies, skeletons, and spiders spawn here under the cover of darkness.
When Vibrant Visuals is enabled, the Cold Ocean takes on an enhanced appearance through a coolish color grading that shifts the environment toward deeper blues. A cold sunlight lighting effect is applied alongside default atmospheric settings, producing slightly brighter conditions around dusk and dawn.
