Magma Block
Magma Block is a block in Minecraft. It is crafted from 4 Magma Cream. It emits light at level 3.
Magma Block is a light-emitting block found naturally in the Nether and the Overworld. It deals continuous fire damage to entities standing on it but does not set them on fire. Fire-resistant mobs and players with Fire Resistance or the Frost Walker enchantment are immune to its damage.
In the Overworld, Magma Blocks generate at the bottom of underwater aquifers and in structures like ocean ruins and ruined portals. In the Nether, they appear in basalt deltas, bastion remnants, and as part of lava formations. They can also be crafted using Magma Cream.
Magma Blocks emit a light level of 3 and produce smoke particles in the rain. When placed under a water source, they create downward bubble columns, pulling in entities and allowing players to restore breath. They also prevent most mobs from spawning and produce a bass drum sound when placed under a note block.
