Lunge

Lunge is a spear-exclusive enchantment in Minecraft, introduced with the Mounts of Mayhem update. When a charged spear jab is released, Lunge propels the wielder forward — the launch distance increasing with each level (I to III) — at the cost of a little hunger and one point of spear durability. It has no incompatible enchantments and applies only to spears. Lunge can be obtained from an enchanting table, from enchanted books found by fishing or in chest loot, and applied to a spear with an anvil.
