Cobblestone

Cobblestone is a common block obtained by mining stone, primarily used for crafting and building. It generates naturally in various structures such as monster rooms, jungle pyramids, and strongholds. It can also be created when flowing water contacts lava. It requires a pickaxe to be mined; otherwise, it drops nothing. With a hardness of 2, it is more durable than stone but relatively easy to break.

Cobblestone is a key ingredient in many crafting recipes, including furnaces, brewing stands, and pistons. It can be smelted into stone, crafted into slabs, stairs, and walls, or used in stonecutting. Like other stone-based blocks, Cobblestone has no additional functional uses. It can be placed under note blocks to produce a bass drum sound.
